First off let me start this post by saying that if you aren’t familiar with Milkman now is the time. He has been a real up and comer on the electro scene since his last album Algorithms. Milkman originally got his start as a mash-up artist (featured in his first 2 FREE album releases Lactose & THC and Circle of Fifths) but has just recently begun to solidify his place in the electro scene with his latest EP Fragments. This new EP is absolutely HUGE and filled with hard pounding tracks that I guarantee you can’t sit still to. I love the new direction Gregg is taking his music and I foresee a successful future for him producing under this genre (the last I saw today this album was #3 on the iTunes new album chart and still moving up). I have long been a fan of Milkman’s work and I know you guys are gonna love it too. Listen up, buy it HERE, and get your eargasm on!

I’m pretty sure almost everyone has been waiting on Steve Aoki‘s new album Wonderland for a while now and the official release date has finally come. The 16 track album features appearances from Wynter Gordon, Nervo, Kid Cudi, Lil Jon, Travis Barker, Chiddy Bang and many more which provides a nice variety over the album (whether or not you like that type of variety is up to you). I should mention that below I did not include Earthquakey People (The Sequel), No Beef, or Turbulence since I am pretty sure you’ve all heard them before. Anyways, I’m not really gonna talk much on this album because hey, its Steve Aoki so what more is there really to say? Listen up and let us know what you think!

Steve Aoki – Wonderland

Well holy shit and a half world we might just have ourselves a little leak of a brand new Daft Punk album entitled Sky Dive which (if this isn’t all some BS) speculated to be released sometime in 2012. Apparently a young woman by the name of Emma found this on a USB drive and well here’s the story in her own words…

My dad works at Virgin Records in the UK and has access to the servers on Their Computers. He Came home Friday night with a USB stick, I use it from time to time for my files for Uni. I Had to put some photos from my computer to my dads so I used His USB on Sunday. When I know I did, i found something interesting…I found a file on the USB titled ‘Daft Punk – Sky Dive (2012) (Previews Promo) src: thedaftclub.

Just to add the anticipation whipped cream on the hype cake it also just so happens that Daft Punk changed the theme of their Facebook, Myspace, and website to Red. This definitely sounds like some sort of indication of a new album considering the only time they change their theme to a different color is when a new album is due for release… Alive was Blue, Human After All was Black, Discovery was Chrome, and Homework was orange. Here’s to the hope of a new Daft Punk album!!

HOLY SHIT what an EP! Knife Party absolutely crushed their 100% No Modern Talking EP out of the park. The EP features 4 high energy, woofer pounding, ear tingling tracks which are all absolute must haves. In terms of classification, I would say the EP is a mix of Dubstep and Electro House for any of you out there who aren’t familiar with the Knife Party boys so if you’re into either of those genres just stop reading now and press play. My personal favorite off the EP is Destroy Them With Lazers but I am highly impressed with the entire EP. I can not wait to hear these tracks live, the crowd is going to be absolutely nuts.
