We’ve got a little treat for those of you who missed Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas this past weekend or for those of you who want to reminisce about the craziness that ensued. Skream is back with some serious tunes on his recent Skream EP release Disfigured Dubz (06-20-2011 release date). A sick little 4 track EP featuring some of his most sought after underground tunes which any dub fan should have as part of their collection. Personally, my favorite track off the EP is Hats Off but to each his own. I included a little description on each track below to give you a feel for what you’re about to hear.

Hats Off is purest old school ebullience, harnessing rampant pianos with romping Jungle breaks and a virulent acid sequence. Heavy Hitter launches the EP into a monstrous metallic Halfstep mode while Rigging is also equally unsubtle. Seasick again takes the Halfstep thing to another degree swiping out the beats for bars at a time to drown the dance in liquid synth excess.

This is an absolutely dirty new drop from Bassnectar off his upcoming album Divergent Spectrum which is due for release August 1st. While we are all eagerly awaiting his brand new album Lorin was kind enough to drop us this little gem off the album entitled Upside Down. The track features his signature heavy bass and I must say he absolutely kills it. This tune has me going insane waiting for the full album release. Grab the track for free and try not to go crazy waiting for the rest of the album (it’s gonna be a rough wait).
