Korn – The Path of Totality (New Dubstep Album)

We’ve all been hearing about this album for some time now and I’m sure most of you have at least heard the track Narcissistic Cannibal off the album already. For anyone who isn’t as familiar Korn’s latest album The Path of Totality (due out December 5) is basically a combination of their own style of music combined with dubstep production from some of the top names in the wub wub game including Skrillex, Noisia, Kill The Noise, Downlink, Excision, Datsik and more. While the idea for this album seems creative I have mixed feelings about it myself since Korn really isn’t my style. I really just wish I could chop out Korn even though it’s their album haha. Anyways, to each their own so take a listen to the album in full and toss up your own thoughts.

Skrillex – BBC Radio 1 Mix 11-16-2011

Last week Skrillex laid out this little 20 minute mix for Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 and I have to say it sounds pretty damn sick. The mix features tracks from Skream, Kill The Noise, Koan Sound, and of course Skrillex himself (full tracklist below). You’re all familiar with Skrillex so there really isn’t much else I need to say here. Listen up and enjoy the free mix!

Kill The Noise – Kill Kill Kill EP

I have been a fan of Kill The Noise for a while now so I had been waiting on the release of this EP since I first caught wind of it and man what an impressive collection of tracks. This highly anticipated release has been gaining a ton of hype but with the official release it has exceeded every expectation I’ve had. The EP features a handful of Kill The Noise originals as well as some absolutely HUGE remixes from some of my favorite artists like Koan Sound, Dillon Francis, Brown & Gammon, & Alvin Risk. There is also a nice variance of styles across the EP including Dubstep, Electro House, and Drum n Bass so there really is something for everyone. This is truly an all around massive release from Kill The Noise who deserve some serious props for one eargasm of an EP. Check out the release in full 320 quality below!

Zedd – Stars Come Out ft. Heather Bright (Original Mix)

I’ve been waiting on this tune from Zedd for a hot minute now and it was absolutely and completely worth the wait. I foresee Stars Come Out turning into a huge anthem across the electronic music world and for damn good reason. The combination of Zedd’s smooth, yet high-energy production style with the caressing vocals of Heather Bright is just a recipe for epic. I really think this track came out incredibly well and I would definitely rate it right at the top of the list of all Zedd tracks I’ve listened to. Beautiful music right here, this one is a must have.
